The Rotary Club of Punta Gorda is providing scholarships to 5 students at Julian Cho Technical High School and 2 Students at Toledo Community College for their 4 years of high school. While 2 of the students from Julian Cho are attending 2011 – 2015, the other 5 students are attending school 2010 – 2014. The students were chosen based on need as demonstrated through the application process. The scholarships cover all tuition/fees payable to the school as outlined by each school at the time of admission. Each student still must cover their books, uniforms, food, etc.

Dorla Salam of Santa Teresa Village is attending Julian Cho with assistance from the Rotary Club of Punta Gorda. She is one of the five students at Julian Cho in the Rotary Scholarship Program.
