Fundraising is an important part of Rotary — it allows us to help our community. All funds raised by the club are used for service projects. Members cover all club administration and membership costs themselves.

EASTER GOLF EGG-STAVAGANZA — On Easter Saturday 30 March 2013 we hosted the first ever Closest to the Pin competition with fabulous prizes! 8 amateurs got very lucky! Also the FREE EASTER EGG HUNT for the children was a great time, along with the crafts, face painting, balloons, and more!. Great BBQ provided by Ms Flordesita Edwards of Jacinto. Drinks from the Rotary Club of PG Music, games, and fun for everyone! Our first ever, but what a great time, and we raised funds to do more good work in Toledo!

MOTORCYCLE RAFFLE — In June 2010, Mr Augustine Lara, Principal of Midway Government School won the Honda 125 that the Rotary Club of Punta Gorda raffled as a fundraiser! Congratulations to Mr Lara! And thanks to everyone who supported us by purchasing tickets!

The Rotary Club of Punta Gorda held our first fundraiser during the 2008 Cacao Festival, a signature event in Toledo. Our members were out in force at Central Park, selling drinks to the thirsty folks enjoying the hot day. We raised some money, and enjoyed ourselves as members of our then provisional club became better acquainted by working together. We also particpated in the recent 2010 Cacao Festival. This is indeed a signature event in Punta Gorda!

In July 2009, Teacher Olive Woodeye organized a successful BBQ sale at Central Park on 23 August. Thanks to all of the community members who came out and supported this effort.

Happy birthday Belize!

Happy birthday Belize!

Thanks to all Rotarians and friends who came out for September Celebrations, both the night of the 20th, and the day of the 21st, to help the Rotary Club of Punta Gorda selling drinks from the parking lot of Scotia Bank as we celebrated Independence Day, PG style!

Thanks to everyone who assisted with the Yard Sale at HelpAge, with a special thanks to “Rotary Ann” Darla Mallory who coordinated the event. This was our most successful fundraiser yet!

      Good Afternoon Mr Guerra,

Were you wishing to contact our club in Punta Gorda, Belize? There are 8 other Rotary Clubs in Belize, and there is also a Punta Gorda, Florida club. I do not know Jerry Mears.

      Best wishes
